Health Canada has issued a recall for a series of Zwilling electric kettles due to potential burn hazards. The affected products are the Zwilling Efinigy Kettle and Efinigy Kettle Pro models, both with a 1.5 L capacity. Approximately 43,963 of these kettles were sold in Canada from February 2020 to February 2026.
The reason for the recall is a safety concern with the kettles’ handles, which can become loose or detach while in use. Health Canada warned that this defect could lead to hot water spilling from the kettle, posing a scalding risk to users and those nearby, including children.
As of May 13, 2026, the company has received 21 incident reports and one potential injury report related to the affected kettles in Canada. Consumers are advised to stop using these kettles immediately and apply for a refund through the designated registration site.
For further assistance, individuals can reach out to Zwilling for more information. Health Canada also encourages anyone facing safety issues with the product to report such incidents promptly.
