“Prince Harry Supports Veterans in Toronto”

Featured in:

Prince Harry is set to journey to Toronto this week to show his support for veterans in anticipation of Remembrance Day. The Duke of Sussex will be in the city for two days, starting on Wednesday. During his visit, he will engage in various activities and attend a private lunch hosted by the True Patriot Love Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to assisting Canadian military personnel, veterans, and their families.

On Wednesday evening, Prince Harry will participate in a fundraising dinner organized by the HALO Trust, a cause that was also championed by his late mother, Princess Diana. The following day, Harry will pay a visit to the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre for a private meeting with the residents. Later in the day, he will attend True Patriot Love’s national tribute dinner.

Prince Harry, aged 41, is a former member of the British army, serving for a decade, which included two deployments in Afghanistan. It is noteworthy that he is no longer an active part of the Royal Family, having relocated to the United States with his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, in 2020 after a brief stay in Canada before settling in Meghan’s home state of California.

In 2020, the couple announced their decision to step back from their senior royal roles, which was later confirmed by Buckingham Palace, stating that they would not resume their duties as working members of the Royal Family. Prince Harry, the son of King Charles, is currently fifth in line to the throne, with his brother Prince William being the first in succession, followed by William’s children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
