Prince Harry playfully remarked during a visit to Toronto that he felt “under duress” when he wore a Los Angeles Dodgers hat at a recent World Series game against the Blue Jays. The Duke of Sussex, accompanied by his wife Meghan Markle, was spotted at Los Angeles’ Dodgers Stadium during Game 4 of the Fall Classic, both donning the home team’s cap.
While at Sunnybrook Hospital’s veterans center in Toronto, Prince Harry was presented with a Toronto Blue Jays hat as a gift. In a light-hearted exchange, the duke quipped about being compelled to wear the Dodgers cap during the World Series, a game that ultimately ended with the Blue Jays’ loss in Game 7.
During his two-day visit to the city ahead of Remembrance Day, Prince Harry was also gifted an army helmet painted by residents and a book featuring stories of centenarian veterans. His previous visit to Canada was in February for the Invictus Games in British Columbia.
Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, briefly resided in Canada before relocating to the United States in 2020. In 2020, the couple announced their decision to step back from their roles as senior royals, with Buckingham Palace later confirming that they would not resume their former positions as working members of the Royal Family.
