Featured in:

Canada’s Félix Auger-Aliassime was defeated 6-2, 6-4 by Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz in the ATP Finals tennis tournament semifinals. Despite a previous victory over Alexander Zverev, Alcaraz proved to be a formidable opponent. Alcaraz, who is set to face Jannik Sinner in the final, showcased a strong performance with multiple breaks in the match.

In the first set, Alcaraz took an early lead and secured the set after a close battle. Auger-Aliassime fought back in the second set, but Alcaraz maintained his dominance and emerged victorious after a tight contest.

In another match, Sinner defeated Alex de Minaur 7-5, 6-2, advancing to the championship match. Sinner, aiming to defend his title, will compete against either Alcaraz or Auger-Aliassime in the final showdown. Alcaraz, already holding the year-end No. 1 ranking, is determined to reach his first final in this prestigious event.

Sinner and Alcaraz have a history of competitive matches, having faced each other in recent Grand Slam finals. The upcoming final promises an intense battle between two formidable players. Sinner’s impressive performance and unbeaten streak on indoor hard courts set the stage for an exciting conclusion to the ATP Finals.
