Coronation Street spoilers: Mick’s new target, sad Daisy twist and a return

There’s big scenes on the way on Coronation Street according to new spoilers for next week.

One villain looks set to focus on a new target, while a new romance causes drama. One character makes a sad announcement amid a sick plan for one resident facing being exposed.

There’s violence, there’s confessions and there’s tricky situations. Viewers can expect bombshells and concern too, as well as a new face, danger, and a return.

One of the key plots next week is villain Mick Michaelis targeting Sean Tully. With it possibly revealed in upcoming episodes that STC inmate Brody is the son of Mick and his wife Lou, recent drama spills over.

With Brody trying to get Sean to do dodgy dealings and threatening the safety of his son Dylan Wilson, Sean plots revenge but it seems Mick has other ideas. Next week Mick threatens Sean over Brody, promising there will be hell to pay.

Gemma is warned to stay away from her baddie neighbour, while in the STC Brody winds up Dylan leading to a violent showdown. As Lou and Gemma discuss dinner plans Sean is horrified, and accuses Gemma of siding with the enemy.

Later in the week Gemma tells her husband Chesney Brown what has gone on, and Chesney resolves to have it out with Mick. Gemma fears for his safety though and warns him against it – so will either of them speak up?

Elsewhere, Christina Boyd and Daisy Midgeley continue to target Jenny Connor, only for things to go too far. With them catfishing her on an app with a fake man named Dom, there’s a shock next week when ‘Dom’ shows up to meet Jenny.

Dom is keen to get Jenny to invest in his business, unaware Christina is after her money. Jenny takes the bait and decides to invest, while Daisy is plotting to flee Weatherfield as soon as she gets the money.

Later on Daisy and Christina are shocked to realise Dom spent the night with Jenny. So when Daniel Osbourne spots Christina and Dom together at the hotel, will he work out their link and what’s really going on with Jenny?

It seems this will tie into the sad exit of Daisy who is leaving the show soon. She tells Daniel she’s planning on leaving but will he agree to go with her?

Also next week, there’s a return with Lauren Bolton in for a shock. Lauren is shocked by a parcel sent for her baby son Frankie, and soon she’s visiting her dad Reece in prison.

The character makes a return for the scenes but will Lauren and her dad make amends? Meanwhile the character is soon pulled over by the police when she and Betsy Swain go joy riding – so is there more trouble ahead?

There’s an ultimatum for newcomer Theo Silverton too in upcoming scenes, as he continues to cheat on his wife Danielle with Todd Grimshaw. Danielle realises Todd and Sarah Platt are not really an item, and that Todd is actually gay after his lies to annoy Theo.

But when Danielle spots Sarah with Theo she wrongly assumes they are having an affair. Theo tries to fix things as Danielle demands to know where her husband is later in the week, but will she rumble Todd and Theo’s fling?

Sarah meanwhile is forced to explain herself to new love interest Kit Green and soon things heat up. It leads to a row for Kit and Sarah’s brother David Platt though.

Spoilers have also revealed that Brian Packham finally admits he’s still in love with Julie Carp, amid her terminal illness. Julie’s trip to the Lakes takes a disastrous turn, so Brian takes the moment to tell Julie how he feels.

Julie’s sister Eileen Grimshaw ends up fuming at George Shuttleworth over events and soon she’s left wondering if he’s really the man for her. Also next week, Dee-Dee Bailey turns a corner, Debbie Webster fears for baby Laila and Abi Franklin flirts with Carl Webster.
