“Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg Reboot ‘The Littlest Hobo’ for New Audiences”

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg have announced plans to bring back the classic Canadian show, “The Littlest Hobo,” for a new generation of viewers. The revamped version of the beloved series, which originally aired from 1979 to 1985, will be a live-action scripted show.

“The Littlest Hobo” follows the adventures of a smart and brave German shepherd that roams from town to town, helping those in need. Rogen and Goldberg, who grew up watching the show, expressed their excitement to reimagine it for modern audiences.

Despite the nostalgia factor, the duo assured fans that while the hobo character will remain little in size, the adventures will be grand in scale. The show’s iconic theme song, “Maybe Tomorrow,” sung by Canadian Terry Bush, will also make a return.

The revival is a joint effort between Rogen’s Point Grey Pictures and Lionsgate, known for their successful projects like “The Studio” and the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” reboot. Details on casting, production, and the premiere date of the new “The Littlest Hobo” series will be revealed later.

Rogen and Goldberg, both Vancouver natives, are committed to providing high-quality Canadian content. Their partnership with Bell Media and Lionsgate aims to create innovative and profitable entertainment that celebrates their Canadian roots.
