Milos Kerkez sends three-word message to Liverpool after dropping transfer bombshell

Milos Kerkez has seemingly attempted to put himself at the top of Liverpool ’s wishlist by claiming he is ‘incomparable’. The Hungarian defender has impressed for Bournemouth since his arrival from AZ Alkmaar in 2023.

He is currently in the midst of his most impressive season yet and has caught the eye of some of the Premier League ’s biggest clubs. Liverpool have been strongly linked with the 20-year-old, while Manchester City are also reportedly admirers.

And Kerkez himself has now taken to social media with a cryptic message. Sharing an image of him during Bournemouth’s win against fellow European chasers Fulham on Monday, he also wrote: “I am incomparable.”

Bournemouth are expected to demand around £40m for Kerkez should they choose to sell over the coming months. He has just over three years remaining on his current deal on the South Coast.

Kerkez has already spoken out on his future with Bournemouth, and did not rule out leaving the club some time soon. Speaking to The Athletic, he said: “These are the things that my agent is on. My dad is on. It is not something that they occupy me with because the season is still going, so there’s no point to talk about anything.

“There’s games left, the FA Cup is important for us — these are big things. And then, like I say, when someone comes (in for you) you never know what’s going to happen or where you’re going to end up. In the summer, we will see what happens.”

Asked about the speculation, he added: “It’s not like I don’t see it (the comments). When people say they don’t see stuff if someone says something about you, I think it’s a lie. It’s only if it hits you or not. If someone says something bad, I do my job, and if someone says something good, I just do my job. That’s it.”

Kerkez might not be the only star that Bournemouth are set to field interest for this summer. Forward Antoine Semenyo has also been linked with a host of other Premier League clubs including Liverpool and Manchester United.

Dutch defender Dean Huijsen is also at the centre of huge speculation amid reported interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid. Bournemouth could still seal a Champions League place come the end of the season.

Andoni Iraola’s men currently sit eighth and seven points adrift of fifth-placed Manchester City. They take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this weekend.
