Madison Beer, a singer-songwriter recognized for songs like “Make You Mine” and “Selfish,” recently got engaged to Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, solidifying their status as the newest celebrity couple in the spotlight. The couple shared delightful photos on Instagram, with one capturing Herbert on bended knee while Beer beams beside him, announcing their engagement with a simple caption: “meet my fiancé.”
Numerous well-wishers, including singer Gracie Abrams and major entities like Apple Music, flooded the post with congratulatory remarks. One playful comment teased Herbert about finally getting a ring, referencing his pursuit of a championship ring since joining the Chargers in 2020.
Acknowledging the joyous occasion, the Chargers reposted the engagement photos on their social media with the caption “JH+MB 4EV.” The pair, aged 27 and 28 respectively, commenced their relationship a year ago and have since become a prominent duo in the music and sports scene.
Their public debut as a couple was in August last year, when Herbert surprised Beer on the set of one of her music videos. They have since embraced their roles as a musician-athlete power couple, following in the footsteps of high-profile pairs like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, as well as Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen.
Beer has been a supportive presence at Chargers’ games, while Herbert made an appearance in the music video for her track “lovergirl” from her latest album “locket deluxe,” released in May. As Herbert gears up for his seventh season with the Chargers, training camp begins Wednesday, marking another chapter in their evolving relationship.
