Cardi B Urges Fans to Fill Seats in Hamilton

Featured in:

Cardi B is serious about her Canadian fans, with a particular focus on Hamilton. As she tours North America with her Little Miss Drama Tour, the Grammy Award-winning rapper expressed concern that while most tour dates are selling out, the Hamilton show on March 31 is not reaching the same level of ticket sales.

In an Instagram story post that has since expired, Cardi B playfully warned her Canadian fans not to disrupt her streak of sold-out shows. She emphasized the importance of buying tickets for the Hamilton show, as it lags behind in sales compared to the other tour dates.

Ticket availability for the Hamilton show on Ticketmaster indicates that there are still many tickets unsold, in contrast to the limited availability for a Toronto show scheduled just a day before the Hamilton concert. Other upcoming tour stops in cities like Kansas City, Chicago, and Newark also have a small number of remaining seats.

Despite efforts to verify the ticket sales percentages with Ticketmaster, CBC News has yet to receive a response. Tickets for the Hamilton show are currently priced at around $118, while prices for the Toronto show start at $314. However, some resale tickets in Toronto are listed as low as $230 each.

Cardi B recently made headlines for selling out multiple concert venues, including two consecutive nights at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. She also issued a warning to Vancouver fans before her February show, ultimately selling out that event as well.

Despite Cardi B’s callout to Hamilton fans, Mayor Andrea Horwath reassured that Hamilton remains a music-loving city, emphasizing the community’s support for live events. Local artist Leon (Eklipz) Robinson echoed this sentiment, attributing potential ticket sale challenges to economic factors like rising costs of living.

While there may be advertising gaps for the Hamilton concert, Robinson believes Cardi B’s callout could potentially boost ticket sales and lead to a sold-out show. As Cardi B continues her tour with upcoming stops in Chicago and New York City, the anticipation for her Toronto and Hamilton performances at the end of the month remains high.
