“Marvel Reveals New Black Panther & Ghost Rider Stars!”

At Comic-Con International, Marvel Studios unveiled David Jonsson as the new Black Panther, portraying the son of T’Challa, previously played by Chadwick Boseman. Additionally, Ryan Gosling was announced to star as Ghost Rider in upcoming films scheduled for release in 2028.

David Jonsson, accompanied by renowned Black Panther franchise director Ryan Coogler, Letitia Wright, and Winston Duke, expressed gratitude for joining the esteemed Marvel family. The highly anticipated Black Panther III is slated to hit theaters on December 15, 2028.

Following Boseman’s passing in 2020, speculation arose regarding who would inherit the Black Panther legacy after the revelation in 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever</em about T'Challa's son. The original 2018 Black Panther made history as the first superhero movie to secure a best picture Oscar nomination and grossed over $1.3 billion globally, with the sequel earning $850 million.

In a thrilling development, Ryan Gosling is set to collaborate with director Shawn Levy, known for Star Wars: Starfighter, for the upcoming Ghost Rider project. Gosling expressed his long-standing desire to embody the character, known as Johnny Blaze, a former stunt motorcyclist transformed into a fiery-headed undead spirit.

Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige announced plans to re-release the Russo brothers’ 2019 film, Avengers: Endgame</em, with new footage connecting it to the forthcoming Avengers: Doomsday, scheduled for release on December 18. The trailer for Doomsday hinted at a complex storyline involving Victor Von Doom, portrayed by Robert Downey Jr., and his intricate ties to Reed Richards and Sue Storm.

Ryan Reynolds made a surprise appearance at the event in a grey Deadpool costume, engaging in light-hearted banter with fellow actors on stage. The star-studded panel also featured appearances from various actors set to star in Doomsday, including Letitia Wright, Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, and others.

Marvel Studios aims to reinvigorate its brand amidst mixed reviews of recent releases and an influx of Disney+ series. Despite a recent decline in superhero film interest, anticipation is high for upcoming releases like Spider-Man: Brand New Day, set to dominate the summer box office, and ticket pre-sales indicate strong interest in Doomsday.
